PROGRAMS

The EPIP Seattle Steering Committee works to develop local programming for our members and friends. We survey our  members annually to find out what issues they are interested in and build relevant programs based on the results.

We are currently developing a schedule for our Fall 2010 programs. If you have suggestions or would like to help plan an event, please send an email to epipseattle@gmail.com.

HAPPY HOUR (monthly)
EPIP Seattle hosts a monthly happy hour event from 5-7pm on the second Thursday of every month. Locations vary, but tend to be located in downtown Seattle.

    PHILANTHROPOLOGY

EPIP's unique grantmaker education program provides EPIP members with peer-based and inter-generational professional development through workshops, Web and print resources, partnerships and ongoing programs. Members will gain: an in-depth orientation to the foundation field; resources to help you take up your role and manage the paradoxes of philanthropy; and a safe space to learn about the complex relationships between foundations, donors, grantees and social change.

In March of 2009, EPIP Seattle brought the first module of the Philanthropology curriculum to our local membership and are working to secure additional funding to continue the series.
